Abigail's journey into Equine Bodywork was sparked during her time as an FEI groom and flat rider. While immersed in this demanding environment, she recognized the stringent regulations governing Equine Therapy at the highest level of the equestrian sport and found a need for innovative approaches. Her experiences working alongside renowned Veterinarians, Physiotherapists, and Osteopaths only fueled her determination and passion for pursuing Equine Therapy.
To equip herself with the necessary expertise, Abigail pursued a diverse array of educational opportunities. She attained certification as an Equine Bodyworker through Equinology Inc., a distinguished institution recognized for its role in continuing education for professionals such as Veterinarians and Chiropractors. Equinology's rigorous curriculum delves beyond mere massage techniques, providing comprehensive anatomical insights into every muscle and ligament, emphasizing not just the "how," but the "why."
In addition to her Equinology certification, Abigail holds Level 1 & 2 certifications in Myofascial Release, further enhancing her repertoire of therapeutic modalities. Understanding that true mastery extends beyond the confines of a classroom, she has invested considerable time collaborating with esteemed Bodyworkers and Osteopaths. Her time at prestigious venues like the Spruce Meadows-Canada, Kentucky Horse Park-USA, La Silla-Mexico, and Otomí-Mexico has afforded her invaluable hands-on experience and insights into best practices.
